The purchase of products from ‘Say it on a bottle’ is governed by these terms and conditions. Please read them before using the site. By accessing the site, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Payment
Payment is due before goods are dispatched unless a credit account has been authorised by Sayitonabottle.
Making A Purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, select your standard of Wine or champagne, and inform us of your contact details, and Engraved message if required. Then proceed to Pay pal, for safe online purchasing. When the order is placed at our website, you will be redirected to our secure online payment process via ‘Pay pal’.
The prices shown includes engraving.
We accept the following payment of ‘Pay pal’, with further credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro , Solo, Giro Pay. Sorry - we do not accept American Express. This is the safest way is to use the online payment process.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and email to confirm as quickly as possible. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Please be advised that once we have engraved your goods they are non-refundable unless faulty.
Availability
If our House Wine or Champagne is not available we will supply an alternative of equal or greater quality.
Orders are subject to the availability of stocks. If your choice of product is not available we will contact you to offer the following options:
Alternative product - if the product is less in value then a partial refund will be arranged - if the product is more in value then additional payment will be required.
A delay until the product becomes available
A refund to the value of the missing product
Cancellation of the entire order and a full refund
If we cannot contact you we reserve the right to provide suitable alternative products at no extra charge. It is very important that you give us your correct contact details during the order process.
Delivery
Please allow up to 7 Working days for delivery due to the personalised nature of the product.
Shipping And Handling Carriage is calculated at cost, depending on size and weight, plus a small packaging fee.
Rush orders may incur an additional charge for next day/am deliveries. On occasion we may not have the item you require in stock. If an alternative item is not acceptable and we need to order an item in especially for you there may be an additional charge to cover the carriage to us, to be agreed.
Carriage is currently available in the UK, including England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Highlands and Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, The Channel Islands and Isles of Scilly. We ship to BFPO addresses. Outside the UK will be charged according to the destination: contact us to discuss.
Please note that most delivery options only deliver during the working week, i.e. Monday to Friday.
Delivery Schedule We will normally send your order to you in 5- 7 business days, depending on the size of the order and stock availability. However let us know the date you require the items for and we will do our utmost to meet your delivery deadline. Should you require your goods urgently, please contact us by Email or telephone to check availability before placing your order.
Please note that once the goods have been despatched delivery is out of our control. If we despatch the goods on time but there is a delay by the carriers we cannot be held responsible for late delivery of the order. Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery. All goods should be examined for any obvious loss or damage at the time of delivery and the necessary evidence, including the goods, retained. Sayitonabottle accepts no liability for any loss through short delivery or damage to goods in transit unless the customer notifies us within 24 Hours after receipt of the goods.
Returns policy & Cancellation
Due to the personalised nature of our products there are no cancellation rights, a full refund will be given for any faulty or damaged product, this refund will be given upon the return and after the inspection of the item confirms the fault or damage.
Returns Policy As our products are usually engraved and are clearly shown on the website we will not accept returns just because you decide you don't like them or want them any longer. Goods may only be returned if they have been damaged on route or the wrong item has been sent in error. These goods will be replaced.
All goods should be examined for any obvious faults or mistakes at the time of delivery The customer must notify us within 24 Hours after receipt of the goods.
Legal Notice for the UK
It is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 years to purchase alcoholic beverages in the UK. Sayitonabottle requires that all customers agree to supply proof of age on request. Orders are not accepted from persons under the age of 18 years old. By placing an order you are making a representation that you are at least 18 years old.
The purchase of alcohol is strictly restricted to adults over the age of 18 and a signature will be required on receipt of delivery by an adult over the age of 18.
The value of the item is in the collectable container, not its contents.
This item is not available at any retail outlet, and the container has a value that substantially exceeds the current retail price of the alcohol in the container
Liability
To the extent allowed by the law, Sayitonabottle shall not be liable for direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of the services or products sold from or referred to on this site in the following circumstances:
For losses that were not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was made
For losses that were not caused by any breach on the part of Sayitonabottle or their suppliers
For business losses and/or losses to non-consumers.

Our payment provider uses state of the art security tools and techniques, both proprietary and unique, to ensure that you are protected against security risks.
Personalised Messages
All engraved messages will mirror your requested words. Please ensure that any messages are thoroughly checked to avoid mistakes. And spelling mistakes or errors in grammar will not be the responsibility of Sayitonabottle unless caused by our mistake.
Quality
All goods are warranted on delivery to the customer to be of the nature, substance and quality invoiced and to conform in all respects with all the appropriate statutory regulations. Imperfections in the glass is an occurrence that cannot be totally avoided, any design is engraved under the centre point of the neck wrapper regardless of where any bottle seam may fall.
Complaints
In the unlikely event that you do wish to complain please contact our customer services team by email. We will try to resolve your complaint immediately. We aim to resolve all complaints to our customers’ satisfaction within five working days of the initial contact.

Our office hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday-Friday except for public holidays. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. We cannot accept visitors to our offices without an appointment.
